“Violent Clash Erupts between Ambulance Crews in Yerevan, Father and Son Arrested”

The President of the “Consolidation of Armenian Nurses” initiative was elected in Yerevan on November 30. A report from the Ministry of Health notified the Central Department of Internal Affairs of RA that an incident had occurred at 69 Koghbatsi Street, resulting in an injury. The opera group, informed of the situation in its early stages, received a report from the Emergency Center of the Astghik Medical Center regarding a city dweller who had been transferred for treatment.

The patient in question was identified as Valentin S., a 40-year-old resident of Yerevan. It was later revealed that the incident occurred due to a collision between the ambulance of the Minister of Health and another ambulance’s siren. This led to a heated altercation involving exchanged blows and insults.

To prevent further escalation, the Criminal Investigation Department swiftly intervened and detained four individuals involved in the altercation. These included 31-year-old Hovhannes H., a resident of Kotayk region; 23-year-old Artur P., a resident of Vayots Dzor region; 21-year-old Arsen G.; and 50-year-old Andranik G., who were all residents of Yerevan. It was later discovered that the detained individuals were a father and his son.

Following the incident, the Ministry of Health prepared the necessary documents which were transferred to the Investigative Committee of Yerevan and Nor Nork Police Stations. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened based on the charge of “hooliganism” with symbols of “interrogation”.

This news sheds light on a recent incident in Armenia, highlighting both the swift response of law enforcement and the need for strict adherence to road regulations, even in emergency situations. The consequences of the altercation serve as a reminder of the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect during high-pressure situations. Hopefully, this incident will lead to increased awareness and improved protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.
