The Armenian Minister of Finance, Mher Grigoryan, disclosed his income for 2022, revealing that he earned 1 billion 7 million drams. According to Hetq.am, 962 million of this income was from the sale of shares in “Ardshinbank,” a bank in which he held a 1.000056% stake. He acquired these shares from “Arins Group LLC” and “Region Financial Corporation CJSC,” making up 97.4% of the bank’s ordinary shares. In 2022, he sold a portion of these shares for 962 million 424 thousand drams, transferring majority ownership to “Arins Group LLC,” headed by Karen Safaryan. In addition to Ardshinbank, “Arins Group” has investments in various companies, including “Armienia Insurance Company,” “Capital VIP,” and “Premier Plaza.”

Following the sale of the shares, Mher Grigoryan utilized 1 million drams for gifts and aid. He also transferred a portion of the remaining income to his wife, Anna Grigoryan, who re-deposited some of the amount as a new deposit. In total, she added 200 thousand dollars and a new deposit of 500 thousand euros, in addition to the initial 300 thousand dollars. The report indicates that the remaining amount received by Mher Grigoryan, approximately 210 million drams, was donated by Anna Grigoryan.
