The Lory region rescue service center received a report on December 4 at 08:52 regarding an accident in the village of Gargar. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the road had become one-sided, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, the regional rescue service center was promptly notified about the situation. To address the operational and rescue work needed, one of the Mobile Rescue Service Centers was sent to the scene.

At the 13th km near the Stepanavan-Vanadzor highway, a truck with a “DAF” brand trailer (driver V.K., born in 1965) overturned, causing the trailer to detach. Thanks to the efforts of rescuers utilizing special equipment, the driver was safely removed from the vehicle. Traffic flow has since been restored in both directions.
