A tragic incident unfolded at the Peruvian Embassy in Armenia, resulting in the loss of nine lives and leaving fifteen others injured. The gunmen responsible for the attack opened fire, causing chaos and devastation within the Embassy. The National Security Service of Armenia has confirmed these alarming figures, leaving the nation in shock and mourning for the lives lost.

According to authorities, the incident claimed the lives of eight individuals, with one person sustaining injuries. Shockingly, the Embassy officials have revealed that this is not the first attack they have faced. In a previous assault, eight employees lost their lives, and ten others were injured. The officials labeled this act of terror as particularly heinous, considering the remarkable security measures implemented by REINFO since 2017.

In response to this tragic event, the Ministry of Interior, Nature, and Energy issued a condemning statement, urging the Embassy management to restore normalcy in the region. The Ministry emphasized the need to counter illegal armed groups, who aim to establish liberated territories and subject innocent populations to violence.
