CHP Representative Narik Mkrtchyan recently had a meeting with Sheng Beylin, the General Secretary of the Sun Chin Lyn Foundation. The meeting was attended by Armenia’s Ambassador to China, Sergey Manasaryan, and Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Social Security, Edward Petrosyan. During the meeting, Mr. Mkrtchyan presented the activities and priorities of the Labor and Social Affairs Committee on labor and social affairs issues, as well as upcoming programs.

The official highly praised the role of Armenian-Chinese friendly relations and emphasized the importance of developing political ties and cooperation between the two countries. Sheng Beylin mentioned that while their organization doesn’t have direct cooperation with Armenia, they believe this meeting will serve as a new impetus for practical programs of mutual interest between the two countries.

In his speech, Sheng Beylin highlighted that their organization provides evening services to children and young people for labor and social programs, as well as creating connections between young people from different countries. The center, spanning 90,000 square meters, is the most comprehensive complex for children’s education and development in Armenia, serving an average of 1 million children annually. The center has approximately 1000 employees and offers comprehensive services to about 6000 children weekly.

After the meeting with Mr. Mkrtchyan, Sheng Beylin expressed their organization’s readiness to consider the possibility of implementing joint projects in Armenia and cooperating with Armenian non-governmental organizations. To conclude the meeting, Mr. Mkrtchyan toured the center, familiarizing himself with the services provided to children and the facility’s capabilities, and interacted with them.
