The Armenian Investigative Committee is currently conducting an investigation into the murder of a 39-year-old man in the Lori region. According to reports received by the Armenian Police on November 28, 2023, at 23:00, a young man had allegedly committed suicide using a firearm inside his house. Upon inspecting the crime scene, it was determined that the deceased had indeed shot himself with a shotgun. Additionally, various items such as 20 cartridges, a firearm magazine, and bullet casings were discovered at the scene. The investigation is currently being handled by a team of forensic, criminalistics, ballistics, and legal experts.

The young man responsible for the incident has been identified and his body has been sent for examination. Preliminary examinations are underway to ascertain the details surrounding the case. It has been revealed that on November 26, 2023, between 15:00 and 16:00, the 39-year-old man traveled to Shahumyan village in the Lori region using a car with the license plate “VAZ 2121”. It was during this time that he allegedly shot a young man multiple times before attempting to flee the scene. However, local residents managed to apprehend him before he could escape.

Furthermore, on November 28, 2023, at 22:30, the 39-year-old man reportedly called the deceased once again and invited him to his house. Upon the young man’s arrival, the 39-year-old man used a firearm to shoot and kill him. The investigation into this tragic event is still ongoing as authorities delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
