Sevastopol Braces for Intense Snowstorm: Residents Urged to Stay Indoors as Blizzard Conditions Hit

An intense snowstorm is expected in Sevastopol, according to weather forecasters. Starting from 18:00, the city will experience heavy snowfall and blizzard conditions, as reported by “Vesti Krym”. Local authorities are advising residents to stay at home unless absolutely necessary.

Municipal services in Sevastopol are working in an intensified mode to deal with the snowstorm. Normal conditions are expected to resume on November 27.

According to the emergency situation authorities, the region is anticipating up to 30 cm of snowfall in a short period of time, accompanied by strong winds reaching speeds of 30-40 m/s. Snowdrifts are also expected to exceed 30 cm in some areas.

The blizzard is predicted to subside on November 26, with the eastern part of Crimea and Sevastopol being hit the hardest.
