According to reports from an NGO, on November 25th at 14:25, the emergency management center of the Kotayk region received a distress call. It stated that a resident of Tsaghkadzor had been trapped under the debris of a landslide near a local hotel. Immediate assistance from rescue workers was urgently needed.

The incident occurred just one kilometer away from the Regional Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It has been reported that the collapse of a retaining wall, constructed out of reinforced concrete blocks measuring around 4 meters high, caused the incident on M. Mkrtchyan Street. The victim, identified as S. H., born in 1962, was found buried beneath the rubble, approximately 1 meter from the surface.

Rescue workers promptly arrived at the scene, successfully extricated the injured individual, and swiftly transported them to the hospital for immediate treatment.
