“IRGC Takes Military Diplomacy to International Waters, Announces Joint Exercises with Foreign Forces”
Iran’s IRGC, as reported by Tasnim, has announced plans to hold joint military exercises with foreign forces in international waters in the coming months. According to IRGC Commander Admiral Shahram Iraninia, two exercises will be conducted in both Iran’s territorial waters and international waters.
One of these exercises will involve joint military maneuvers with Oman’s naval forces. Additionally, Iraninia stated that invitations have been extended to other countries to participate in these exercises.
In addition to these exercises, a larger-scale military exercise called “Safe Haven 2023” will also be held after the joint maneuvers. Notably, Iraq, China, Russia, and several other countries have already expressed their intention to participate. Furthermore, Iraninia announced that in 2024, more countries will join in these exercises.
