National Assembly President Alen Simonyan to Enact Law on President’s Responsibilities; Arman Yeghoyan Appointed to COSAC Conference in Madrid

On November 20, National Assembly President Alen Simonyan will sign an enactment implementing the Law on “The Responsibilities of the President of the National Assembly.” This enactment specifically pertains to Article 5, Section 5.

Arman Yeghoyan, the President of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly, has been appointed to participate in the conference of the Committees of the European Union (COSAC) on European integration issues. The conference will take place from November 26 to 29, 2023, in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.

D. Arakelyan, who serves as the Head of the National Assembly staff and chief of staff, has been assigned the responsibility for organizing and coordinating expenses related to travel, per diem, and salaries. These expenses should align with the National Assembly’s 2023 State budget, as indicated in official documents. Decision K-127-A, titled “On the requirements for the organization and coordination of the activities and expenditures of the staff and employees of the National Assembly,” has been approved by the President of the National Assembly on May 1, 2021.
