“State Revenue Committee Uncovers Undisclosed Activities in Tax Investigation of “Actrade Soft” and “BOMOND” LLC”

The State Committee of Public Revenues of the Republic of Armenia is taking steps to enforce the provisions of the Tax Code related to tax collection from foreign companies operating through servers in the country. Ongoing investigations have uncovered undisclosed activities of taxpayers engaged in tax evasion, particularly in the case of “Actrade Soft” CJSC, supported by “BOMOND” LLC (trade name “AVAM GROUP”). The State Revenue Committee has conducted separate investigations into state-owned enterprises and authorized committees, using various methods such as server analysis and secret audits, and has uncovered additional undisclosed activities leading to tax liabilities. For example, “BOMOND” LLC (trade name “ACTXREID SOFT”) has a tax liability of approximately 720 million AMD, while “SPITAKI TARCHNABOOTSAYN KOMBINAT” CJSC has a tax liability of 258 million AMD.

Furthermore, ongoing investigations into taxpayers’ tax liabilities through the Information Retrieval Center of the State Revenue Committee have revealed hidden data in accounting documents and tax calculations that were illegally concealed to evade taxes. The State Revenue Committee emphasizes the importance of transparency in accounting and tax calculations and urges taxpayers to report any hidden activities in accordance with the amnesty scheme.

It is crucial for foreign companies operating in Armenia to comply with the Tax Code and fulfill their tax obligations. The State Committee of Public Revenues is committed to ensuring effective implementation of the tax collection provisions and will take appropriate measures to suppress underground businesses involved in tax evasion.

Taxpayers must understand that concealing data and engaging in tax evasion not only undermines the country’s revenue system but also affects public services and infrastructure development. The State Revenue Committee encourages all taxpayers to fulfil their tax responsibilities and contribute to the country’s progress.
