“Artik Community Joins Forces with Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports to Preserve Ancient Church: Restoration Agreement Signed”

An agreement on the preservation and restoration of the Holy Savior Church in the Artik community of the Shirak region was signed today between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and philanthropist Levon Hovhannisyan. The representative of the Ministry, Alfred Kocharyan, emphasized the importance of cooperation with the community to preserve the historical and cultural heritage for future generations. The Ministry will review the historical documents of the church and provide evidence of its cultural significance, as well as offer scientific and expert advice and support during the restoration process. Levon Hovhannisyan, in addition to conducting research on the architectural heritage of the church, will assist in preparing financial documents and provide support in other areas.

According to a recent announcement, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has signed an agreement with philanthropist Levon Hovhannisyan to preserve and restore the Holy Savior Church in the Artik community of the Shirak region.
