Armenia’s National Assembly today continued the first stage of the debate on its agenda, which includes eight questions. It is important to note that yesterday, all eight questions were thoroughly discussed and voted on. Today, the focus will be on the second stage of discussions.

The following questions will be addressed by the National Assembly:

1. Discussion on the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for the year 2023, part of the legislative package.

2. Amendments and additions to the “Law on State Pensions” within the legislative package.

3. Efforts to protect the Lake Sevan basin, encompassing the legislative package.

   • Amendments and additions to the “Water Code of the Republic of Armenia” as part of the legislative package.

4. The legal registration of lawyers, establishment of a unified register of lawyers, disciplinary proceedings, and disciplinary sanctions against lawyers, within the legislative package.

5. Amendments and additions to the “Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia” as part of the legislative package.

6. Proposed amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government in the Republic of Armenia, part of the legislative package.
