“Armenian Filmmakers to Spark Innovation and Collaboration at International Seminar on Contemporary Art and Public Administration”

The support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia and the National Commission for UNESCO will enable the “Guide” artistic and educational NGO of Armenian filmmakers to organize an international seminar titled “Solidart. Contemporary Art and Public Administration” in Yerevan from November 21-26. This seminar, as reported by NEWS.am, aims to address the challenges faced by contemporary cinematography, establish a platform for collaboration among Armenian filmmakers, and facilitate the growth of innovative cooperation and new film markets. The seminar will bring together cinematographers, producers, film directors, members of film guilds, film critics, and art critics. Discussions will cover various topics, including copyright issues, industry trends, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to view films from different countries, including Armenia, and gain insight into contemporary Armenian cinema, its history, past accomplishments, and local film festivals. Additionally, participants will have the chance to visit prominent cultural landmarks such as the Sergei Paradjanov Museum, the Matenadaran, and the National Picture Gallery.
