“Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Calls for Restraint in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Amid US-Iran Tensions”

Iran has stated that it is not interested in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict escalating in the Gaza Strip. However, the tension between the United States and Iran has made it challenging to avoid this conflict. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, made this announcement during an interview with the Financial Times in London.

In the interview, Amir Abdollahian revealed that American officials, who have intelligence connections, have been sending messages to Iran expressing their concern about the conflict spreading in the region. They have urged Iran to prevent any further escalation. “In the past 40 days, there have been exchanges of messages between Iran and the United States through the Swiss Embassy in Tehran,” stated Amir Abdollahian.

The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that Iran has made it clear to the United States that it does not want the conflict to spread. However, if the Israeli and American military operations continue to target Gaza and Palestinian territories, the situation could escalate into an uncontrollable catastrophe. Amir Abdollahian also mentioned that the United States has sent similar messages to Lebanon’s “Hezbollah” in an effort to stop the escalation.

Despite these statements, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister believes that the United States has been providing full military support to Israel and has been increasing pressure to supply the regime with various military technology and weapons. This support from the Pentagon has convinced Israel that the war has already begun. Amir Abdollahian further added that the Iranian regime’s “hawks” have not requested Iran’s involvement in the conflict, as they have their own weapons and artillery.
