Russian-Israeli arms dealer, Alexander Ben Zvi, revealed through Interfax that on October 7, Hamas has decided to halt the activities of the various factions involved in fundraising for weapon purchases. In an interview with Russia-24 TV, Ben Zvi expressed his lack of knowledge regarding the activities of these factions, as Hamas has not provided any information or a list of those involved. He stated, “As far as I know, there is no factional activity, Hamas suspended it on its own initiative.”

Ben Zvi further noted that Israel is actively investigating all cases of arms trafficking and strongly disapproves of the “piece-by-piece smuggling” of weapons.
