Armenia has decided not to use any political tools to declare its desire to join the Customs Union, even if it is obligated to do so. In a press conference, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the RA President, discussed Armenia’s integration into Europe as a military term. The document presented at the “Armenian and European military forum” called for the withdrawal of Armenia’s commitments from CSTO, EAEU, and CIS. However, Zakharova stated that it cannot be said that Armenia has completely turned away from Moscow towards the EU and NATO. She also mentioned that the programs of the Eastern Partnership and other countries essentially poison Armenia, as they are contrary to the principles of independence and security. As representatives of Armenia’s ally countries, they are asked to protect Armenia’s interests and not engage in sitting on two chairs.
