The United States believes that the national leadership of Palestine, which overlooks the West Bank of the Jordan River, will take control of Gaza after the ongoing conflict ends, according to CNN. Secretary of State Merry Lifin’s spokesperson stated that just as Palestine manages the activities of the West Bank, they should also manage Gaza for the sake of its management and security. Regarding the issue, Lifin mentioned that the State Department is currently reviewing all these matters and discussions are expected to begin soon.
