The National Bureau of Trials of the RA NSS, under the leadership of Aram Hovsepyan, recently participated in a working visit to France. They were officially invited by ThermoFisher Scientific to take part in a conference organized by the International Criminal Police Organization (IRCGN) on the challenges in the field of criminalistics and forensic analysis.

This conference brought together experts from various European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, as well as Armenia, Ukraine, and others. The Xpress DNA team from France, operating in the judicial district of Serzhi, was also present at the event.

The meeting focused on discussing topics related to improving forensic science, ensuring the quality of DNA laboratories, introducing innovative solutions, implementing rapid tests for DNA identification, and using mobile DNA laboratories. The importance of international cooperation in professional development and practical activities of forensic professionals was emphasized.

Aram Hovsepyan, the head of the NSS, expressed his gratitude to the Continuous Professional Development Program of the National Bureau of Trials for their active cooperation in international projects. This collaboration aims to enhance the qualifications of forensic professionals and address existing issues in the field. The National Bureau of Trials plays a crucial role in facilitating the cooperation between international organizations and forensic agencies, thus improving the quality of expertise and practical implementation of results.
