“Russia-U.S. Negotiations Set to Resume, Hinge on U.S. President’s Constructive Shift, says Kremlin Spokesperson”

Russia and the United States have announced the resumption of negotiations, following the initiative of the Americans. In order for the meeting between the leaders of both nations to happen, the President of the United States must first adopt a more constructive approach. These comments were made by Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian President, in an interview with TV journalist Paula Zavarubin. Peskov emphasized the need for a change in the President’s position and for a more constructive decision that will determine the future of the relations between Russia and the United States. He further added that a meeting between the two leaders can only occur if there is a reciprocal desire and willingness to compromise.
