The consequences of Israeli strikes on a gas field in Gaza have been devastating, with a reported 9,700 victims and over 24,800 people injured. Ashraf al-Qidra, spokesperson for the Gaza Health Ministry, shared these alarming figures during a press conference broadcasted by Arab TV channels. Of the victims, 4,800 were children, 2,550 were women, and 596 were elderly. In addition, throughout the month, 24,808 people of various ages have suffered injuries of varying degrees.

On October 7, Israel launched a surprise attack on the naval blockade enforced by the armed forces of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the coastal areas of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military then proceeded to attack the southern coastal regions of Israel, targeting both military personnel and civilian populations, while also capturing over 200 individuals. As per local authorities, the total death toll in Israel stands at more than 1,400, including 300 militants, with over 5,000 people injured.
