“Former Prime Minister Caught in Controversial Confrontation: Shocking Details Emerge in “Candlesticks for the Heart” Project”

The “Zhoghovurd” daily has reported on interesting developments involving Tomás Shahverdyán, a prominent figure in the Achtarak municipality, as part of the “Candlesticks for the Heart” project by the Peace Corps. However, the court overseeing the case did not hold a hearing, according to information received by “Zhoghovurd”. It has been reported by ArmLur.am that the candlesticks from the “Achtarak Jor” restaurant in the Aragatsotn region were moved from the pilgrimage site known as “Galooshti Jor”, leading to the hospitalization of the local official in Achtarak. Furthermore, several individuals, including Grigor Harutyunyan, the former chairman of the National Assembly, have been arrested in connection with the incident, although the exact details remain unclear.

According to ArmLur.am, the private owner of the “Achtarak Jor” restaurant complex carried out construction work on the premises. This led to a confrontation with Tomás Shahverdyán, a former Prime Minister of Armenia and a member of the Peace Corps team. Around 40 individuals armed with stones and sticks then arrived and attacked the restaurant complex owner, despite the presence of law enforcement officers. Their behavior has been described as “mafia-like”. It is believed that Tomás Shahverdyán sent a message to the group through the restaurant owner. The judicial system is continuing its investigation, and efforts are being made to identify the actual perpetrators. The actions of the Prime Minister and his team in response to this incident remain to be seen.
