“Evacuated Artsakh Residents: How to Apply for Temporary Protection in Yerevan”

The Internal Affairs Administration has issued an announcement regarding the situation of the evacuated residents of Artsakh due to the war. Our compatriots who were evacuated from Javakheti and Mountainous Karabakh can now submit their applications in Yerevan at 3 Zakyan Street, apt. 118/1. Alternatively, applications in the provinces can be made at the Migration and City Administration in all regions.

To apply, the following documents are required: an application-inquiry, a birth certificate with notarized translation (if in a foreign language), a valid passport photo (35 x 45 mm), a migration certificate and its copy (in case of a name change), and any documents confirming changes in personal data if applicable. Additionally, a payment receipt of the state duty must be included.

Applications from victims of temporary protection will be given priority and processed as quickly as possible. It’s worth noting that a certificate of temporary protection is not mandatory when submitting an application to the city administration.
