“RA Prosecutor’s Office Unveils Newly Renovated Archive Storage: Enhancing Efficiency and Preservation”

Today, a working meeting was held in the RA prosecutor’s office, chaired by Chief Prosecutor Karen Margaryan, to discuss the newly renovated archive storage. The meeting was attended by directors and employees responsible for the central body of the RA Prosecutor’s Office.

The archive storage was provided by the RA Government in accordance with a relevant decision and has been renovated using state budget funds. The internal restoration works in the new premises of the archive storage, with a total area of about 7 million drams, have ensured the necessary conditions for preserving archive materials, documents, and valuable paper copies of criminal cases.

The newly renovated archive storage is equipped with special temperature and humidity control systems, modern technology, surveillance, and security measures. These measures aim to ensure the protection and preservation of the archive materials. Moreover, a comfortable working environment has been created, adhering to established standards.

Chief Prosecutor Karen Margaryan and others had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the newly renovated and equipped premises of the archive storage. During his welcoming speech, Margaryan expressed gratitude to the RA Government for the timely solution, which is expected to significantly enhance the utilization of valuable information for the prosecutor’s office tasks.

Margaryan emphasized that the new conditions will contribute to the efficient organization of archival work, reducing the duration of criminal proceedings, and improving other related activities. The implementation of these measures is vital for the effective and efficient functioning of the prosecutor’s office.
