“China and Armenia Strengthen Strategic Partnership with High-Level Meeting in Beijing”

China’s Prime Minister Xi Jinping and Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Beijing on November 3rd to discuss the strategic partnership between the two countries. Jinping highlighted the importance of cooperation in construction, education, and training, while also expressing China’s commitment to steady and sustainable development. Jinping further expressed China’s readiness to deepen cooperation with Armenia in transportation, energy, finance, and telecommunications, as well as in the fields of agriculture, digital technology, and scientific innovations.

Pashinyan reciprocated by asserting Armenia’s willingness to collaborate with China to protect common interests, maintain regional stability, and promote mutual cooperation in various sectors. He also acknowledged the positive impact of his previous visit to China in 2019 on the relations between the two nations. Pashinyan emphasized Armenia’s dedication to continuing high-quality construction of the “Silk Road and Belt” project and strengthening cooperation in multiple domains. He expressed satisfaction with China’s support for Armenia’s foreign and domestic policies, and their shared commitment to further bilateral cooperation.

The comprehensive development of China-Armenia relations, both leaders agreed, relies on mutual trust, respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation.
