Artsakh President Warns of Potential Logistical Challenges in Integrating Displaced Artsakh Residents into Armenian Labor Market
In light of recent developments in Artsakh, the implementation of programs aimed at improving management efficiency and controlling financial expenses has led to an increase in internal demand. On October 31, Artsakh Republic President Martine Galstyan addressed this issue during a press conference in Momik when asked about the potential consequences of integrating over 100 thousand individuals originally from Artsakh into the labor market of the Republic of Armenia.
“If we fail to create suitable conditions within the labor market that promote the integration of displaced individuals from Artsakh into the Republic of Armenia, our daily lives will be restricted. This means that expanding employment opportunities may present logistical challenges,” he explained.
In order to address this concern, Galstyan emphasized the need to take steps towards integrating displaced individuals into socio-economic and agricultural development initiatives.
