Armenia’s government plans to adhere to international standards and expand international flights at “Zvartnots” airport. Negotiations are underway to amend existing agreements and operate the airport for both domestic and international flights, according to Minister Papikyan. The completion of the concession agreement is nearing, and a new agreement is imminent, as shared by Prime Minister Tunyan.

Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport boasts unique aircraft like the Airbus A319-100 ACJ and exclusive helicopters. Despite the reduction from 7 to 6 helicopters, their importance remains high.
