“22-Year-Old Yerevan Resident Linked to Major Waste management Scandal, Investigation Reveals”

The investigation by the State Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has made progress in prosecuting waste management issues. A 22-year-old resident of Yerevan has been identified as involved. The investigation found that the resident used cryptocurrency transactions on the “Telegram” messaging app to dispose of waste materials and acquired other cryptocurrencies for waste disposal. The resident transferred significant quantities of waste to various recipients using a waste disposal system called “Marichuana” and photographed the locations using coordinates. The resident also received payment for waste disposal through a cryptocurrency wallet and transferred photographs online. The investigation has concluded, and the case has been sent to a judge for further action. The investigation is ongoing to assess the involvement of other members of the social network group in waste disposal activities.
