Ministry of Internal Affairs Proposes Changes in Citizenship Legislation to Enhance National Security

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Armenia is proposing changes to legislation on internal affairs and public order. These changes include defining citizenship, allowing electronic presentation of documents, and suspending activities of organizations against public order. Requesting or terminating citizenship would require approval from relevant bodies. Proposed changes also include increasing the period for citizenship acquisition and termination.
