Over 1300 teachers without high education qualifications have continued to teach, but must meet the law’s requirements by August 2023. 894 teachers have applied for professional development, and 354 have been enrolled. The educational system has abolished the activities of teachers who do not meet requirements, but they can continue by meeting the daily schedule or gaining a high education qualification. This program aims to improve education and fill teaching vacancies.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia is holding a competition for teacher training in artistic education. Teachers will be evaluated over a 3-year period.
