Northrop Grumman Awarded $7 Million Contract for B-2 Bomber Upgrades and Sustainment by US Department of Defense

Northrop Grumman has secured a $7 million contract by the US Department of Defense for B-2 bomber modification and sustainment. The deal includes logistic, engineering, and critical maintenance services. The work will take place at military bases across California, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Utah, with completion set for May 2029. In related news, Northrop Grumman is also producing the B-21 Raider stealth bomber, set to replace older aircraft by the 2030s. Additionally, the US plans to equip B-52J Stratofortress bombers with modernized B-2s alongside the B-21 Raider.
