“Sergei Parajanov’s Centennial Anniversary Celebrated with Unveiling of Statue in Yerevan Cultural Event”

Celebrating the centennial anniversary of Sergei Parajanov, a cultural event was held in Yerevan. The Prime Minister unveiled Parajanov’s statue, highlighting his global recognition. The event will be celebrated throughout the year, including programs abroad. The Deputy Minister of Culture expressed gratitude, noting the success of Armenian cinema in international festivals. The Prime Minister also announced a proposal to name the Global Star sculpture “Nran Gyun” (Celestial Color) to represent the astronomical sphere.
