“EU Aims to Reap 15 Billion Euros from Frozen Russian Activities by 2027”
The EU aims to generate 15 billion euros by 2027 through the reissue of frozen Russian activities. This revenue will support the Eastern Partnership, depending on EU banking interest rates. The plan is delayed until spring due to legal and financial issues, but new developments in Ukrainian cooperation and with the US provide added motivation. Approval from all 27 EU countries is required at the December summit. Detailed timeline will be presented at the EU session in Strasbourg.
