“Armenian Beekeeping Industry Secures Export of Bee Products to EU After Regulatory Changes”

The State Service for Food Safety of Armenia has made changes to the export program for bee products to EU countries. Companies with certificates will be able to continue exporting honey from November 29, 2024. Details can be found in the AGRINFO bulletin. Guaranteeing the non-use of harmful substances by honey-producing bees is crucial for Armenia to be included in the list of countries allowed to export after September 3, 2026. These changes aim to protect consumers, producers, and the reputation of Armenian honey.
