According to a recent report, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages in the country increased by 4.8% in December 2022 and 2023. The highest increase was seen in the city of Gyumri. Meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, and bread also saw price increases. Lamb, beef, fruits, and vegetables, on the other hand, saw price decreases. The sugar and confectionery industry experienced an increase, while tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products had mixed changes. Indian spices, salt, oil, sugar, flour, and honey also saw price increases. Margarine, vegetable oil, fish, dried fruits, nuts, chocolate, and candy had mixed price changes. Sunflower oil and pastries saw price decreases.
