“Venezuelan President Narrowly Escapes Assassination Plot during Visit to Caracas: Arrests Made”

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during his visit to Caracas. Two men were arrested and later confessed to being members of a right-wing organization planning to use explosives against him. This comes after two Venezuelan nationals were previously arrested for a similar plot, and in January, 32 individuals were arrested for planning demonstrations against Maduro with US help.
