European Council to Officially Confirm Diplomatic Relations with Ukraine, EUMM to Start Negotiations on Association Agreement

The European Council will confirm diplomatic representation with Kiev, establishing official relations with the Ukrainian delegation in Brussels. EUMM will negotiate the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the Eurasian Union, despite conditions. The EU will advise the CIS to start diplomatic relations with Ukraine, considering changes and acceptance of new norms. The announcement will be published on November 8, pending EU countries’ consent.
