Yerevan’s General Court Grants Motion to Change Restraining Order for Levon Kocharyan in Overthrow Case

Yerevan’s General Court satisfied the “Armenia” faction’s motion to change the measure of restraint for Levon Kocharyan in the case related to the overthrow of the constitutional order. The court set bail at 2 million drams. Kocharyan’s lawyers claim the prosecution is politically motivated. Detained since September 2020, he was released months later with a guarantee from a security officer.
