“New Government Decision Aims to Improve Interregional and International Passenger Transportation Services”

The decision on urban management and construction allows tax exemptions for operators using micro-autobuses from third countries, improving interregional and international transportation services in Armenia. The project aims to increase the number of imported vehicles for competition and alleviate the financial burden on operators. “GEVMIC and ARPID contribute to Armenia’s investment programs, creating jobs and boosting economy”

The management of “GEVMIC” CJSC announced its contribution to investment programs in various fields, including the construction of a modern greenhouse complex in Armenia’s Gegharkunik region. The company plans to create new job opportunities and implement a 1.56 billion AMD investment for greenhouse production. Benefits from customs duties exemption amount to 78 million AMD. “ARPID” CJSC also received import duty exemptions for its plans to build industrial facilities and produce pharmaceuticals. The program aims to create more job positions and invest in new equipment and construction works.

“Regulatory Commission and Water Authority Discuss Use of Public Service Funds for Investment Programs: Responsibility Unclear, Urgent Revision Needed”

The possibility of using public service fees for investment programs was discussed by the National Commission and the Water Authority. It remains unclear who is responsible for the project, according to Tigran Avinyan, Yerevan City Hall Chief of Staff. Despite not being accepted, significant investments have been made in Yerevan, as stated by the director of “Veolia Water”. Urgent revision and problem-solving are needed, with the Public Services Commission likely to take charge.
