Armenia’s POS Terminal Network Experiences Rapid Growth: Over 20,000 Terminals Remain Unused

The number of POS terminals in Armenia has grown to 75 thousand, but 20 thousand remain unused. Investing 1.8 billion drams, the costs for installing a terminal have decreased by more than half. The use of payment cards and terminals has increased, particularly in supermarkets, grocery stores, and hotels. Social assistance through non-cash means will also see significant growth in 2023.
