EU Commits to Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in Armenia and Expanding Market Access: Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin
The EU pledges support for small businesses and market entry in Armenia, while investing in renewable energy and aviation safety. A 270 million euro grant has been provided over 4 years, with projects including connecting electricity networks and Armenian-American partnership development. Today, high-level representatives from Armenia and the EU met in Brussels. Separate discussions were held by the Prime Minister of Armenia, US Chargé d’affaires, President of the European Council, and Vice-President of the European Commission for Foreign Affairs.

Representatives from the EU and the Armenian government discussed the progress of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement. The meeting highlighted successful sectors and emphasized the importance of effective implementation. The EU expressed support for Armenia’s reforms, while Armenia affirmed its commitment to cooperation. Both sides signed a memorandum of understanding to support cooperation priorities.
