The Commission for Protection of Competition is discussing new regulations for the dairy industry and payment issues. Changes include establishing a new institution to oversee production and import and setting criteria for supervision. Distributors may have a liability of up to 25 million AMD, ten times higher than producers. Penalties may be applied for breach of obligations. The regulations will come into effect on May 6.
