UK’s armed forces face a £17bn funding shortfall for military equipment maintenance over the next 10 years, as reported by Reuters. The National Audit Office (NAO) estimates that an additional £305.5bn will be needed for new equipment from 2023-2033, exceeding the previous 2012 projection by £16.9bn.
