“Arab Emirates Collaborate with Armenia’s Ministry of Nature Protection in Climate Change Actions and Oil and Gas Transactions, Reveals BBC Report”

Arab Emirates intends to involve Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection in climate change negotiations & oil/gas agreements, as reported by BBC. The UAE’s Climate Policy Center circulated documents to 27 governments proposing discussions on evaluating oil/gas transactions for climate change mitigation. The UAE is also keen on energy procurement from Masdar, their state-owned energy company, with cooperation agreements planned in 20 countries, including the UK, US, France, Germany, China, Egypt, and Kenya. COP28, the final phase of UNFCCC’s global climate negotiations, was attended by world leaders including the Pope and King Charles III.
