Claudia Sheinbaum Secures Landslide Victory as Mexico City’s Mayor in Recent Elections

Claudia Sheinbaum has won a decisive victory in Mexico City’s recent elections, receiving 58.3-60.7% of the votes according to preliminary calculations. Sheinbaum, from the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA), surpassed her opponent Alejandra Barrales. Ricardo Anaya from the “Citizens’ Movement” didn’t gain enough support for victory.
