Armenia Refuses to Participate in Scheduled Meeting Amidst Proposals for Relations Regulation with Azerbaijan: Defense Minister’s Remarks

Armenia’s Defense Minister, Edmon Marukyan, revealed that Armenia decided not to participate in the currently scheduled meeting regarding the regulation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Marukyan commented on Russia’s possible intervention and expressed the need for Azerbaijan to show its desire for a peace agreement. He raised concerns about the CSTO’s failure to protect Armenia during the war and emphasized the need for political decisions regarding Armenia’s participation in the CSTO. Marukyan also discussed the unresolved issues with the CSTO and the occupation of Armenian territories.
