AHK and CDC Collaborate to Combat H5N1 Avian Influenza in the United States
International healthcare organization AHK has partnered with the CDC to address Avian Influenza in the US. The President of AHK, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated that while the H5N1 virus is a significant threat, transmission between humans is uncommon. The infected patient is hospitalized and recovering, with no other symptoms observed. AHK and the CDC are actively investigating the source of the infection for prevention purposes.
