Armenia and Germany Discuss Cooperation in Education, Energy, and Cultural Heritage
Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports met with the head of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The meeting discussed cooperation in education, research, and vocational training. They also explored possibilities in energy and climate change research, as well as organizing an international music festival in Armenia. The potential for collaboration in preserving cultural heritage also came up, particularly in digitizing ancient manuscripts. Overall, both sides expressed interest in further cooperation.
“Armenian Education Conference Sets the Stage for Reforms and Enhances Teacher Professionalism”
The “Education as a Government Priority” conference in Armenia brought together 600 teachers to discuss education reforms and innovations. The aim was to enhance the development of the education system and improve teachers’ professional capacity. With speeches, workshops, and discussions, the conference fostered cooperation and understanding among teachers. The next phase in October will focus on child protection methods and current educational issues.

The first meeting of the “Cultural Renaissance” Foundation council focused on new programs and utilization of cultural heritage. Discussions included goals, activities, budget, and financing. Established in 2024, the foundation aims to develop and promote cultural activities in Armenia.
