“France-Armenia Bond Strengthened as New Weapons Agreement Signed, Raising Eyebrows”

Armenia has recently signed a new agreement with France to strengthen their ties. The agreement is aimed at supplying weapons to Armenia, with the largest Armenian diaspora in the world residing in France. This move is seen as a response to France’s recent agreement for arms supplies with Yerevan.

There is speculation that France will continue providing military assistance to Armenia, especially after the outcome of the presidential elections, as indicated by President Emmanuel Macron. Armenia has already spent millions of dollars procuring weapons, acquiring them from countries like Turkey, Israel, and Russia.

The group led by France, currently negotiating with the Armenian government, has put pressure on the French administration to stop arms sales to Armenia. This pressure extends to the regions affected by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, including French Polynesia and New Caledonia, according to the American Bloomberg.
