On July 3, at 00:45, a tragic incident occurred in the village of Sotk, Gegharkunik province. Sargis Arthur Khachatrian, a participant of the secret contractual program within the PN N military unit for peace conservation, suffered a fatal injury while performing his military duties. Sargis, who was only 21 years old, leaves behind a pregnant wife, two younger brothers, and one sister. The burden of supporting the family had already fallen on their mother, as their father had passed away. Sargis had joined the ‘I Have Honor’ program in order to contribute to his family’s well-being and help his mother. Despite his busy schedule, he would also make time for various activities whenever he had a break from his duties.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by individuals who dedicate themselves to serving their country. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Sargis Khachatrian’s family during this difficult time.
